New Delhi LG Taranjit Singh Sandhu pays obeisance at Gurdwara Rakabganj Sahib

New Delhi, March 11, 2025: Newly appointed Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, Taranjit Singh Sandhu visited Gurdwara Rakab Ganj Sahib on Wednesday to pay obeisance following his appointment to the constitutional post.
Sandhu was accompanied by Rekha Gupta during the visit. The two leaders offered prayers at the historic gurdwara and sought blessings.
A seasoned diplomat, Sandhu was recently appointed as the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi by Droupadi Murmu.
Sandhu also comes from a prominent Sikh family. He is the grandson of Teja Singh Samundri, who was a key founder of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee and played a central role in the historic Gurdwara Reform Movement.
