“UK is being invaded by illegal immigrants”: Trump slams Britain’s immigration policy as ‘insane’

Washington DC (US), April 15, 2026: Donald Trump has sharply criticised the United Kingdom’s immigration approach, calling it “insane” and claiming the country is facing an “invasion” of illegal migrants.
In an interview with Sky News, Trump took aim at the policies under Prime Minister Keir Starmer, alleging that large numbers of undocumented migrants are entering Britain from across the world.
Doubling down on his remarks when challenged, Trump insisted his assessment was accurate and pointed to his own administration’s immigration measures as a benchmark. He claimed that the United States had effectively tightened its borders and reduced illegal entries while taking action against offenders.
