2 Punjab IAS officers among 48 officers appointed as Joint Secretaries at Centre; List Inside

Chandigarh, April 15, 2026: Two Punjab IAS officers, Alaknanda Dayal, lAS (PB:2000) and Sumeet Kumar Jarangal, lAS (PB:2009), among 48 officers, have been appointed as Joint Secretary and equivalent positions across multiple central ministries.
These include departments such as Civil Aviation, Defence, Agriculture, Home Affairs, Petrochemicals, and Shipping and Ports.
