Citizens asked to avail online self-enumeration facility before May 14
Ferozepur, May 8, 2026: District and Sessions Judge, Ferozepur, Sumit Malhotra completed his own self-enumeration form under Census 2027
The Government of India has started the Self-Enumeration facility under Census 2027 to provide convenience to the general public. Through this initiative, citizens can fill in their census details online themselves. The facility will remain available till May 14, 2026.
District & Sessions Judge said that citizens can register their information from home by visiting the official portal se.census.gov.in. To use the portal, users first need to select their preferred language and then log in using their mobile number and basic details. After logging in, citizens are required to answer all the questions correctly and submit the form online.
He further informed that after submission of the form, a unique Self-Enumeration ID will be generated. When the census official visits the household, citizens will only need to show this ID for verification, eliminating the need to fill out the form again.
Sumit Malhotra appealed to the residents of the district to take maximum advantage of this facility and cooperate in ensuring the smooth and successful completion of the Census 2027 process.
