Amritsar (Punjab), June 20, 2026: BJP National President Nitin Nabin on Saturday participated in a state core committee meeting in Amritsar, where party leaders reviewed organisational strategies and discussed plans to strengthen the BJP’s presence across Punjab.

The meeting was attended by Punjab BJP President Kewal Singh Dhillon along with members of the party’s state core committee. Discussions focused on expanding the party’s organisational structure down to the booth level, upcoming political programmes and the current political situation in the state.
Sharing details of the visit, Nabin said the meeting provided an opportunity to assess the party’s ongoing activities and prepare a roadmap for future campaigns and outreach initiatives. He emphasised the importance of strengthening grassroots networks and ensuring effective coordination between party workers and leadership.
The BJP leader also noted that party workers in Amritsar displayed considerable enthusiasm during the visit. According to him, the interaction with local leaders and workers reflected growing energy within the organisation as it prepares for future political challenges in Punjab.
Describing Amritsar as the “Guru’s city,” Nabin said the first day of his Punjab tour was marked by productive discussions and a review of the party’s work on the ground. He added that feedback from workers and office-bearers would help shape the party’s strategy in the coming months.
The visit comes as the BJP continues efforts to expand its organisational base in Punjab ahead of future electoral contests, with a particular focus on strengthening booth-level committees and increasing engagement with voters across the state.
