MLA Bhullar kicks off Rs 1.71 Cr road development works in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, July 6, 2026: In a major push to strengthen urban infrastructure and improve road connectivity, Ranbir Singh Bhullar, MLA of Ferozepur Urban constituency, on Monday inaugurated the construction of two important road projects in the city.
The projects include the construction of a 4.40-km road from Kasuri Gate to Bare Ke Chowk and a 1.65-km road from Qila Wala Chowk to Basti Bhattian Wali. The total cost of the two projects is estimated at approximately ₹1.71 crore.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Bhullar said the new roads would significantly improve traffic movement, enhance commuter safety, and provide better connectivity for residents. He added that the projects are part of the Punjab Government's ongoing efforts to upgrade civic infrastructure and improve the quality of life for citizens.
He said the state government, under the leadership of Bhagwant Singh Mann, is committed to providing modern and reliable basic amenities to the people. He emphasized that development works are being carried out across all parts of the constituency to strengthen infrastructure and meet the growing needs of the public.
Bhullar further assured that more development projects would continue to be undertaken in the coming months to ensure better public facilities and sustained progress across the Ferozepur Urban constituency.
