BLO Ajitpal Singh honoured for first completing house-to-house enumeration drive
Ferozepur, July 6, 2026: Under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026 of the electoral rolls, Booth Level Officer (BLO) Ajitpal Singh of Booth No. 158 in the Zira Assembly Constituency has been honoured for becoming the first BLO in Ferozepur district to successfully complete the house-to-house enumeration campaign.
In recognition of his exemplary service, dedication and commitment to duty, District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Ferozepur, Deepshikha Sharma, presented him with a Certificate of Appreciation during a felicitation ceremony held on Monday.
Congratulating Ajitpal Singh on his outstanding achievement, the District Election Officer said that Booth Level Officers play a crucial role in ensuring a transparent, accurate and efficient electoral process. She added that his dedication and timely completion of the enumeration drive would serve as an inspiration for other BLOs and further strengthen the electoral system.
