  New Delhi, July 16, 2026: Former Chief Minister and Member of Parliament Charanjit Singh Channi today reached National Capital to sort out issue of Punjab Congress leadership crisis. He is likely to meet AICC General Secretary KC Venugopal. Yesterday LoP Partap Singh Bajwa had met Venugopal.
  
  Congress insiders are claiming that Bajwa is trying to play negotiator to sort out the crisis which has emerged after Channi led group opposed continuity of Amarinder Singh Raja Warring as PPCC President.
