  Qadian, July 16, 2026: A big clash was witnessed between workers of ruling AAP and opposition Congress here today during election for post of President and Vice President of Municipal Committee (MC). Leader of Opposition Partap Singh Bajwa was present when these workers clashed.
  
  Later Parminderpal Kaur of AAP was elected President.
