Dirba, Nihal Singh Wala achieve 100% digitisation in SIR 2026 enumeration phase
Punjab CEO Anindita Mitra congratulates election teams, urges remaining voters to submit enumeration forms promptly.

Chandigarh, July 20, 2026: Punjab Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Anindita Mitra has congratulated the election machinery of the Dirba Assembly constituency in Sangrur district and the Nihal Singh Wala Assembly constituency in Moga district for achieving 100 per cent digitisation of Enumeration Forms during the ongoing House-to-House Enumeration phase of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026.
The two constituencies completed the digitisation process well ahead of the prescribed deadline, marking a significant milestone in the state’s electoral roll revision exercise.
Commending the achievement, Mitra praised the coordinated efforts of the District Election Officers (DEOs), Electoral Registration Officers (EROs), Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs), and Booth Level Officers (BLOs).
She said the accomplishment reflects the commitment, teamwork and mission-mode approach adopted by the election staff in ensuring timely completion of the digitisation process.
Expressing confidence in the progress of the statewide exercise, the CEO said she expects all districts in Punjab to complete the digitisation of enumeration forms within the stipulated timelines.
Mitra also appealed to voters who have not yet submitted their enumeration forms to their respective Booth Level Officers to do so without delay to ensure that their names are included in the draft electoral rolls prepared under the Special Intensive Revision 2026.
