Punjab BJP appoints Presidents of six district units
New district presidents named for Faridkot, Hoshiarpur Rural, Hoshiarpur Urban, Khanna, Sri Muktsar Sahib and Sangrur-1

Chandigarh, August 2, 2026: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Punjab on Sunday announced the appointment of presidents for six district units in the state.
The appointments were made with the consent of BJP national president Nitin Nabin and were approved by Punjab BJP president Kewal Singh Dhillon, according to an official party communication.
The newly appointed district presidents are:
- Faridkot: Sandeep Singh Brar
- Hoshiarpur Rural: Sanjeev Manhas
- Hoshiarpur Urban: Neten Gupta Nannu
- Khanna: Anoop Sharma
- Sri Muktsar Sahib: Kuldeep Singh Bhangewala
- Sangrur-1: Sarjiwan Jindal
The appointments were announced through an official order issued by BJP Punjab State General Secretary Anil Sarin.
