  Chandigarh, August 6, 2026: Haryana electricity employees are firm to observe three day strike from August 11 to 13 as talks between government and the Haryana Electricity Employees and Engineers Joint Action Front have failed. Haryana Energy Minister Anil Vij has held talks with representatives of the front.
  
  Employees are opposing granting license to private firms to start business in power sector whereas government is firm on going ahead with privatisation.
