Breaking: Congress Working Committee meeting begins at Indira Bhavan; Top leaders attend

New Delhi, August 19, 2026 — A meeting of the Congress Working Committee (CWC) began at Indira Bhavan, the Congress headquarters in New Delhi, on Wednesday.
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi arrived at the party headquarters to attend the meeting.
Several other senior Congress leaders, including Sachin Pilot, Harish Chaudhary, Vinod Jakhar, Anand Sharma and P. Chidambaram, were also present.
