‘Sunakhi Punjaban’ grand finale celebrates Punjabi culture and heritage: Harmeet Singh Kalka

New Delhi, September 27, 2026: Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) president Harmeet Singh Kalka praised the grand finale of ‘Sunakhi Punjaban Season 8’, describing the initiative as an important platform for promoting Punjabi language, culture, heritage and identity.
Kalka said initiatives such as ‘Sunakhi Punjaban’ can help connect younger generations with their mother tongue, cultural heritage and traditional values.
He appreciated the effort to showcase Punjabi culture through a contemporary platform and said such initiatives can play an important role in keeping Punjabi language and cultural traditions connected with the younger generation.
Kalka congratulated Dr Avneet Kaur Bhatia and her team on the successful conclusion of the eighth season and expressed hope that similar initiatives to promote Punjabi language, heritage and culture would continue in the future.
