Breaking: Three-storey under-construction building collapses in Ambala, Six killed

Ambala (Haryana), September 28, 2026: The death toll in the collapse of an under-construction three-storey building at Dhulkot village in Ambala has risen to six, officials said on Monday.
Two more people rescued from beneath the debris were declared dead late Sunday night, taking the total number of fatalities to six. The building collapsed on Sunday evening while workers were casting the concrete roof slab on the first floor.
More than 10 people were injured in the incident. One of the injured workers had said that some labourers were working on the ground floor while others were engaged in the roof casting work when the structure collapsed.
Rescue teams searched through the debris following the collapse and pulled out several workers trapped underneath. Authorities are continuing to assess the circumstances that led to the building's collapse.
