MLA Dahiya joins devotees at Ferozepur’s spectacular 500-drone show to mark 650th Parkash Purab of Guru Ravidass
Ferozepur, October 5, 2026: A spectacular drone show featuring 500 drones was organised at the C-PYTE ground adjoining the Meritorious School, Hukam Singh Wala, Ferozepur, as part of the celebrations being held by the Punjab Government to mark the 650th Parkash Purb of Shri Guru Ravidass Ji.

The breathtaking aerial presentation used illuminated drones to depict the life, teachings, dignity of labour and universal philosophy of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji. A large number of devotees witnessed the unique blend of technology and spirituality with great reverence and enthusiasm.
MLA Ferozepur Rural, Rajnish Dahiya, who attended the event, said that 92 drone shows were being organised across Punjab as part of the 650th Parkash Purb celebrations. He said the initiative aimed at taking the universal message and teachings of Guru Ravidas Ji to a wider audience.Deputy DEO Dr Satinder Singh was also present on this occasion.
He said the life and Bani of Guru Ravidas Ji inspire humanity to live with equality, fraternity and dignity. The drone presentation, he added, was a fitting tribute to the revered Guru and an effort to convey his eternal messages of equality, social harmony, compassion, social justice and human dignity to the younger generation.
Before the drone show, an event titled “Ek Shaam Baba Ji Ke Naam” was organised in which singers Rakesh Gill, Sonu Sabharwal and Pawan Daravid from Amritsar, along with their teams, enthralled the gathering with devotional music and religious songs.
