MP Sanjeev Arora gains strong support from Sarabha Nagar

Ludhiana (Punjab), April 20, 2025: Members of the elite class from the Sarabha Nagar area gathered on Saturday evening for a poll meeting in support of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate Sanjeev Arora, contesting the upcoming byelection for the Ludhiana (West) assembly constituency.
The large turnout was seen as a strong endorsement of Arora’s candidature.Addressing the gathering, Arora highlighted various development projects undertaken during his tenure as Member of Parliament over the past three years.
He emphasized that his motivation stemmed not from political ambition, but from a personal commitment to serve the people of his hometown.
“I feel a deep sense of satisfaction when I work for my city—it’s similar to the fulfillment one gets from a good workout,” Arora said, adding that the support of the people keeps him going.
MLA Kulwant Singh Sidhu and Area Municipal Councillor Amrit Varsha Rampal also addressed the gathering, urging residents to vote for Arora in large numbers to ensure a decisive victory.
He praised Arora as an honest, dedicated, and committed individual, calling his nomination a matter of good fortune for the constituency.
He said, “Voting always brings pride, and voting for AAP’s symbol this time will be a matter of double pride.”
Municipal Councillor Amrit Varsha Rampal encouraged everyone not only to vote for Arora but also to become his ambassadors by canvassing among neighbours and friends.
“Every vote counts, and even a single vote can make a difference,” she said, calling on attendees to treat themselves as representatives of Arora in the campaign.The meeting saw significant participation from women, and Arora personally greeted each attendee with folded hands, seeking their support.
Notable attendees included Rakesh Nayar, Daman Oswal (Nahar Group), Rajinder Gupta (Trident), and Anoop Bector (Cremica).
