This initiative, taken on the instructions of the Chief Minister of Punjab, aims to encourage farmers to adopt environmentally friendly methods of disposing of paddy straw.
Deputy Commissioner Sahni visited the village of Dhararh and handed over cheque to the farmers, praising their efforts in protecting the environment and increasing soil fertility.
She emphasized that refraining from burning paddy straw is crucial for maintaining soil health and promoting eco-friendly farming practices.
