BJP Chandigarh Vice President Devshali condemns Pahalgam terror attack

Chandigarh, April 23, 2025: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Chandigarh Vice President Shakti Prakash Devshali has strongly condemned the brutal killing of Hindu civilians by terrorists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, calling it a cowardly, unforgivable, and heinous act.
He expressed deep sorrow over the loss of innocent lives and extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, also wishing a speedy recovery to those injured in the attack.Devshali denounced the attack where terrorists reportedly identified victims based on their religion before opening fire.
“This is a barbaric and shameful act that every Indian must stand united against,” he said. “In this hour of grief, the entire nation stands with the families affected by this terror attack.”
He lauded the swift and serious response from the Central Government, highlighting Home Minister Amit Shah's immediate visit to Jammu and Kashmir and Prime Minister Narendra Modi cutting short his foreign tour to monitor the situation personally.
“The resolve of the Government of India and its people cannot be shaken by such cowardly acts,” Devshali said. “A befitting response will be given, and it will be yet another decisive step toward making Kashmir terror-free.”
Calling for national unity, Devshali urged citizens to maintain peace and support the government’s efforts in tackling terrorism.
He reiterated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, the country will not rest until those behind the attack are brought to justice and terrorism is eradicated from the region.
