  Chandigarh, March 26, 2025: In a major announcement for people of Punjab, Finance Minister Harpal Cheema today announced that Health insurance cover will th provide to each citizen of the state and cashless treatment upto Rs. 10 Lakh will be available in Private and government hospitals. He said that Government will spend Rs. 778 crore rupees under this scheme and Rs. 10 crore under Farishtay scheme.
