Chandigarh, July 7, 2025: Haryana Health and Family Welfare Minister Arti Singh Rao held a public grievance hearing at her official residence in Chandigarh on Monday, where hundreds of residents from various districts of the state came forward with complaints and demands related to healthcare services.
Taking a serious note of each issue, the minister directed concerned officials to ensure immediate redressal. Many grievances were resolved on the spot.
The majority of complaints pertained to shortages of doctors, irregular medicine supplies, and requests for personal medical assistance. Rao instructed officials to act promptly and warned that negligence in public service would not be tolerated.
“Resolving public grievances swiftly is a top priority for our government,” said Arti Singh Rao, reaffirming the state’s commitment under the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini to provide a transparent, accountable, and people-centric administration.
She also cautioned that strict disciplinary action would be taken against any officer or employee found obstructing the implementation of welfare schemes.
Following the hearing, the minister chaired a review meeting with senior Health Department officials and issued directives to enhance the delivery and quality of health services at the grassroots level.
