Mohali (Punjab), April 15, 2026: The Mohali district administration has announced revised summer OPD timings for all government healthcare facilities, effective from April 16.
Civil Surgeon Dr. Sangeeta Jain said that outpatient departments will now function from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM across the district.
The new schedule will apply to Sub-Divisional Hospitals in Kharar and Derabassi, along with all Primary Health Centres (PHCs), Community Health Centres (CHCs), Aam Aadmi Clinics, Ayushman Arogya Kendras, subsidiary health centres, ESI hospitals, and dispensaries.
She added that registration counters will open 30 minutes before OPD hours to streamline patient flow, reduce waiting time, and ensure smoother access to treatment. Emergency services will continue to operate around the clock without any change.
Dr. Jain also noted that the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar State Institute of Medical Sciences and Hospital in Phase 6, Mohali, is already following revised timings of 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM from April 1.
Meanwhile, office timings for the Civil Surgeon’s office and other administrative units in government hospitals will remain unchanged, operating from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The revised schedule is part of the standard summer timing system, which remains in place from April 16 to October 15.
