NCR, Eastern Railway enter final of 35th All India Railway Women’s Cricket Championship after semi-final wins

Chandigarh, April 15, 2026: The semi-finals of the 35th All India Railway Women’s Cricket Championship 2025–26 witnessed intense competition, with North Central Railway (NCR) and Eastern Railway securing spots in the final.
In a nail-biting first semi-final, NCR defeated Western Railway by one wicket. Opting to bowl first, NCR restricted Western Railway to 189 runs. In response, NCR chased down the target, scoring 193 for 9 in 49 overs. Susmita Kumari starred with the ball, claiming 5 wickets for 33 runs and earning the Player of the Match award.
In the second semi-final, Eastern Railway registered a convincing 43-run win over Central Railway. Batting first, Eastern Railway posted 215 runs, while Central Railway were bowled out for 177 in reply.
Sukanya Parida delivered an impressive all-round performance, scoring 30 runs and taking 3 wickets for 29 runs, and was named Player of the Match.
With these victories, North Central Railway and Eastern Railway have advanced to the final, scheduled for April 16, 2026.
