‘Will not stop until we drive AAP out’: Charanjit Channi

Chandigarh, September 15, 2026: Congress MP and former Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi on Tuesday launched a sharp attack on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government, alleging that Punjab was witnessing an atmosphere of “hooliganism, gangsterism, looting and bloodshed.”
Speaking in Chandigarh, Channi said the Congress had taken to the streets to raise issues concerning the people and oppose the state government.
“We will fight the people’s battle and will not stop until we drive them out,” Channi said, referring to the AAP government.
His remarks came during a Congress protest in Chandigarh against the Punjab government.
