In a commendable initiative aimed at empowering the youth of Punjab, the state government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is set to launch the fourth batch of Mission Pragati. This program, which has already benefited approximately 300 students through its previous three batches, offers free coaching and physical training for various competitive examinations.
The upcoming batch is scheduled to commence on October 5, providing an invaluable opportunity for aspirants to prepare for exams such as PSSSB, SSC CGL, Banking, Police, and Armed Forces.
The Deputy Commissioner of Bathinda, Rajesh Dhiman, announced that highly qualified educators have been enlisted to deliver comprehensive coaching at the Public Library in Civil Lines, Bathinda. This initiative ensures that candidates have access to all necessary study materials and books required for their exam preparations.
With a diverse range of subjects covered, including General Knowledge, Mathematics, Reasoning, Punjabi, and English, the program is designed to equip students with the skills needed to excel in their examinations.
The coaching module spans a period of 90 days, during which candidates receive rigorous training. Public Library In-charge Swarnjit Kaur emphasized that the library is stocked with a wide array of books to prevent any shortages in study material. This ensures that every candidate has the resources needed to succeed.
In addition to classroom coaching, Mission Pragati also offers free physical training at the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Multipurpose Sports Stadium. This aspect of the program is crucial for candidates preparing for recruitment in services where physical fitness tests are mandatory, such as the Indian Army and Punjab Police.
Dedicated government coaches from C-PYTE, the Sports Department, and the Police Department provide specialized training tailored to meet the physical standards and requirements of various recruitment processes.
