Centre extends Internet ban in Punjab areas situated on Haryana-Punjab border
Patiala, February 18, 2024: Home Ministry under Government of India has extended ban on internet in Punjab areas situated on Haryan-Punjab borders.
In orders issued in this regard, said that "public safety and averting public emergency, it is necessary and expedient to order, the temporary suspension of internet services from 00:00 Hrs on February 17, 2024 to 23:59 Hrs on February 24, 2024 in the following areas :-
- P.S Shambhu, P.S Julkan, P.S Passian, P.S Patran, P.S Shatrana, P.S
Samana, P.S Ghanour, P.S Devigarh and P.S Balbhera in Distt Patiala
- P.S Lalru in Distt SAS Nagar
3. P.S Sangat in Distt Bathinda
4. P.S Killianwali in Distt Sri Muktsar Sahib
5. P.S Sardulgarh and P.S Boha in Distt Mansa
6. P.S Khanauri, P.S Moonak, P.S Lehra, P.S Sunam, P.S Chajli in Distt Sangrur.
7. P.S Fatehgarh Sahib in Distt Fatehgarh Sahib
