Chandigarh, March 6, 2025: inDrive's women drivers and Chandigarh Traffic Police joined hands to spread awareness of the importance of road safety on this International Women's Day. The initiative featured a session on road safety for inDrive drivers by Chandigarh Police.
This was followed by a bike rally of women drivers. The rally was flagged off by Dr Parvesh Sharma, Inspector, Chandigarh Traffic Police, and disseminated messages such as 'Don't Drink and Drive' and 'Keep to the left', sensitising citizens on the importance of road safety.

It will go a long way in sensitising citizens on the importance of road safety, which is the need of the hour," said Dr Parvesh Sharma, Inspector, Chandigarh Traffic Police.
"We encourage our drivers to follow the rules of the road as everyone's safety is important. On the special occasion of women's day we collaborated with Chandigarh Traffic Police to challenge injustice on the roads and make the city safe. Our female drivers joined us today to support our initiative ," said Shashank Shekhar, Driver Operations Specialist, inDrive.
