Transport Department holds special camp for 250+ Army personnel from 11 Units in Ferozepur

Ferozepur, March 30, 2025: In compliance with the directives of Deputy Commissioner Deep Shikha Sharma and under the guidance of RTO Karnbir Singh Cheema, the Transport Department, led by ATO Rakesh Kumar Bansal, organized a special camp for Army personnel and their families.
The initiative, conducted in collaboration with Brigadier Tarun Pathak and Lieutenant Colonel Sartaj Singh Saini, aimed to address transport-related concerns such as driving licenses, vehicle registration certificates (RC), and other transport services.
The camp was spearheaded by Transport Department official Navdeep Singh and witnessed participation from 11 Army units. More than 250 Army officers and personnel attended the session. During the event, Transport Department officials listened to grievances, provided on-the-spot resolutions, and offered detailed information on driving licenses, vehicle registration, high-security number plates, and vehicle transfers.
Army officials expressed their appreciation and requested similar camps in the future. RTO Karnbir Singh Cheema assured them of continued support, ensuring hassle-free transport services for Army personnel. He reaffirmed the department’s commitment to organizing such camps regularly.
