  Shimla, January 6, 2026: In a big achievement, 4,023 handmade shawls crafted by artisans from across Himachal Pradesh had made it to Guinness Book of World Record as they were displayed together at the iconic Ridge in Shimla. This record has been created for the largest display of handmade shawls. This achievement has brought international recognition to traditional Himachali craftsmanship and local products.
  
  This exhibition was organised by HIM Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) hosted by Department of Industries. Chief Minister Sukhwinder Sukhu had inaugurated this exhibition.
