Another Green Corridor to transplant one heart, 95 kms in 63 minutes from Rohtak to Delhi

Rohtak/New Delhi, September 18, 2026: Another record was created on Thursday to transplant a heart donated at Rohtak and to be transplanted at Fortis Delhi, police from Haryana and Delhi coordinated to create a green corridor to let the heart travel 95 kilometres in 63 minutes.
Donor heart was retrieved at 7.20 pm and Ambulance carrying it left at 7.40 to reach Fortis Hospital Shalimar Bagh at 8.43 for emergency transplant.
Interestingly transplant team travelled at 2.49 from Delhi to reach Rohtak at 4.34 PM to retrieve the heart. Finally the operation to carry it and transplant was successful.
