Chandigarh, February 27, 2025:
On February 22-23, 2025, the International Educational Center “Elinio,” based in Saint Petersburg, Russia, hosted an International Public Conference on the topic: "Matter and Spirituality."
The conference featured over 24 speakers and 100 participants from various countries, including India, Russia, China, Japan, Ethiopia, and Nepal.
Representatives from India explored the theme from the perspective of India's centuries-old culture, highlighting its rich spiritual and philosophical traditions.
The event showcased the warm convergence of Indian and Russian civilizations, both rooted in traditional cultural and spiritual moral values.
Indian speakers, including Er. Sukhdev Singh, Dr. Bhupinder Kaur, and Er. Avneet Kaur, delivered presentations on topics such as karma, religion, and social responsibility, offering profound insights into India's spiritual heritage.
It is worth recalling that Anna Petrovna Sergeeva, the Director of IEC “Elinio,” visited India in 2008 and held a press conference at the Punjab Arts Council, Chandigarh, Punjab, on the topic: "Karma and Spirituality." That event resonated with over a hundred attendees and received coverage in prominent newspapers such as The Tribune (India).
The collaboration and relationships between India and IEC “Elinio” have continued to grow, culminating in the 2025 joint conference, which also included participants from BRICS countries.
The efforts to bridge social and cultural divides continue, and IEC “Elinio” looks forward to hosting the International Forum "Humanity" 2025 in St. Petersburg. The forum, titled "Humanity," will present the "Humanity Award" to laureates from different countries, further strengthening global cultural and spiritual connections.
