DC releases 'Stress-Free Education’ inspirational article collection by Edu Deptt
Ferozepur, June 18: An inspirational article collection aimed at making students stress-free during examinations and developing a positive mindset among them was formally released by Deputy Commissioner Ferozepur, Deep Shikha Sharma, during a special function.
The initiative has been launched under MISSION PRERNA, started by the Secondary Education Department, Ferozepur, under the guidance of District Education Officer (Secondary) Manila Arora, with dedicated efforts of Deputy District Education Officer Dr. Satinder Singh, National Awardee.
The collection includes articles written by education experts, psychologists and renowned writers, focusing on building self-confidence, mental strength and a positive attitude among students during examinations. The initiative is aimed at helping students overcome examination pressure and enhance their capabilities.
Addressing the gathering, Deputy Commissioner Deep Shikha Sharma appreciated the unique effort of the Education Department and said that success in student life depends not only on hard work but also on maintaining discipline, confidence and a positive approach. She advised students not to allow fear and stress to dominate them and said that such motivational content would help strengthen their mental ability and confidence.
She also honoured the team members who contributed significantly to the successful completion of this project by presenting them appreciation certificates. Those recognised included Sandeep Kumar, Gurdev Singh, Gurpreet Singh, members of the BRC team and Kanchan Rani.
District Education Officer (Secondary) Manila Arora said that the article collection, edited by Dr. Satinder Singh with support from fellow teachers, would prove highly beneficial and serve as a guiding source for students. She added that the department is continuously introducing new initiatives to encourage students towards education and inspire them.
Dr. Satinder Singh thanked the Deputy Commissioner, contributors, writers and supporting team members, stating that the main objective of Mission Prerna is to develop self-confidence among students, reduce examination-related pressure and promote their overall personality development. He said that the ideas included in the collection would motivate students to face life challenges with courage and determination.
Principal Rakesh Sharma DSM, Sukhchain Singh, along with other officials and teachers, were also present on the occasion.
