Breaking: Commissioner Police Amritsar transferred; See who got the charge

Chandigarh, August 7: The Punjab Government's Home Affairs Department has issued transfer orders in the police department, assigning 2010-batch IPS officer Harmanbir Singh the additional charge of Commissioner of Police, Amritsar.
According to the official orders, Harmanbir Singh will continue to serve as Deputy Inspector General (DIG), Border Range, Amritsar, while also taking over the responsibilities of Commissioner of Police, Amritsar.
He replaces IPS officer Gurpreet Singh Bhullar, who was previously holding the additional charge of the post. The government has not announced any further changes in the order.
