Rampura Phul (Bathinda):
17 July 2026
With political activity gaining momentum in Punjab, Chairman of the Bathinda Improvement Trust and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) District President Jatinder Singh Bhalla has intensified his public outreach across the Rampura Phul Assembly constituency. The party has launched a series of corner meetings in villages and urban areas aimed at strengthening direct engagement with residents while highlighting the Punjab Government's welfare initiatives and development agenda.
Addressing gatherings in different parts of the constituency, Bhalla said the AAP government has implemented several landmark reforms during its tenure in sectors such as education, healthcare, free electricity, anti-corruption measures, and public welfare. He said the objective of the campaign is to ensure that every eligible citizen is informed about government schemes and benefits.
"The government is committed to ensuring that the benefits of its welfare programmes reach the last person in society. Party workers are visiting households and interacting with people to spread awareness about these initiatives," Bhalla said.
Describing Rampura Phul as more than just a political constituency, Bhalla said it has always been his home and that he has maintained close ties with its residents over the years. He added that the trust and affection shown by the people continue to inspire him to remain accessible and actively engaged with the public.
Apart from public awareness, the ongoing corner meetings are also serving as a platform for residents to raise local issues and civic concerns. Bhalla said complaints received during these interactions are being forwarded to the concerned government departments for prompt action. He stressed that the party believes in maintaining continuous contact with the public rather than approaching voters only during election periods.
Highlighting the government's governance model, Bhalla said the Punjab Government has focused on transparent administration and has ensured that taxpayers' money is spent on development and public welfare. He expressed confidence that several more people-centric decisions would be announced in the coming months.
Calling upon party workers to further intensify grassroots outreach, Bhalla urged them to visit every village and urban locality to inform residents about the government's achievements and welfare programmes. He said greater public awareness would strengthen support for development-oriented and transparent politics.
The meetings witnessed the participation of local AAP leaders, party workers, and a large number of residents, who assured the leadership that they would continue expanding the campaign to ensure government schemes reach every household in the constituency.
