  Ludhiana (Punjab), March 28, 2025: Swapan Sharma, 2009-batch IPS officer of Punjab cadre has been appointed as the new Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana.
  
  Prior to this, he also served as Commissioner of Police, in Jalandhar and DIG, Ferozepur.
