VIP numbers for vehicles to cost more in Punjab, notification issued

Chandigarh, January 30, 2025: Punjab Government has increased reserve price of VIP numbers for vehicles. Transport department has issued notification in this regard. According to notification, now 0001 number for which earlier reserve price was Rs. 2.5 lakh, will now cost Rs. 5 lakh. Similarly number 0002 to 0009 which were available at reserve price of RS. 25000 will now cost Rs. 2 lakh. Number 1313 which was earlier available for Rs. 5000 will now cost Rs. 1 lakh. Numbers like 1008, 0295 which were available for free earlier will now cost Rs. 1 lakh. Numbers like 7777 and 1111 which were available for Rs. 12500 will now cost Rs. 1 lakh.
