Flight collides with Military helicopter mid air in Washington, 60 feared dead

Washington, January 30, 2025: A flight collided with a military helicopter at Regan National Airport in Washington and fell in a river. 60 people and 4 member crew were traveling in the plane.
American airlines in a statement said that they are aware of reports that American Eagle flight 5342, operated by PSA, with service from Wichita, Kansas (ICT) to Washington Reagan National Airport (DCA) has been involved in an incident. We will provide information as it becomes available.
Meanwhile Vice President JD Vance in a tweet said, " “Please say a prayer for everyone involved in the mid-air collision near Reagan airport this evening. We’re monitoring the situation, but for now let’s hope for the best."
