Seminar on qualitative education empowers teachers held at Govt School
Ferozepur, February 3, 2025: A one-day intensive training seminar focusing on qualitative education in Punjabi and English subjects was successfully organized at Government Senior Secondary School (Boys), Guruharshahai. The seminar aimed to enhance teaching methodologies and improve student learning outcomes.
The event was conducted under the guidance of District Education Officer (DEO) Monila Arora, Deputy DEO Dr Satinder Singh, Principal DIET Seema Panshi, and District Resource Coordinator Dinesh Chauhan, in alignment with the directives of the State Educational Research and Training Council, Punjab.
Teachers from Block Guruharshahai-1 and Block Guruharsahai-2 actively participated as Block Resource Persons (BRPs). Notable educators, including Pawan Kumar, Surinder Singh, Jaswinder Singh, Jaswant Singh, Rajiv Monga, Rajwinder Kaur, Bhupinder Singh, and Gurlal Singh, conducted insightful sessions focusing on holistic student development, final examination strategies, and the broader academic goals of the education department.
Block Resource Coordinators Angrez Kumar, Sandeep Kumar, and Vishal Kumar played a crucial role in the seminar, sharing innovative teaching techniques to improve classroom engagement and overall learning outcomes. Their insights provided teachers with modern pedagogical tools to elevate educational standards.
In his opening address, Principal Suresh Kumar emphasized the importance of literary traditions and skill-based education in shaping students' futures. He encouraged educators to blend modern teaching methods with traditional values to create a well-rounded learning environment.
Reflecting on the impact of the training, Vishal Kumar, an experienced Block Resource Coordinator, highlighted the significance of the four-day seminar held from January 29 to February 2. He noted that subject teachers gained invaluable knowledge and professional insights, which would play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of education in their respective schools.
