SCF elects new committee; AGM Varinder Kumar highlights concerns over elderly care
Ferozepur, March 31, 2025 – Rajinder Kumar, Assistant General Manager, Senior Citizen Home, Doraha, visited the old age home in Doraha on Sunday and provided detailed insights into the care and facilities offered to the elderly.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajinder Kumar expressed concerns over the increasing need for senior citizen homes, stating that while such facilities are essential given the current social landscape, they reflect a worrying trend in society.

Meanwhile, Senior Citizens Forum (SCF), President Pradeep Dhawan assured that members from Ferozepur would soon visit the Doraha old age home to extend their support.
Earlier in the day, the Senior Citizens Forum, Ferozepur, held its election meeting for the 2025-26 term at Bagban, Ferozepur City, under the leadership of Committee President Pradeep Dhawan. The gathering saw a large turnout of office-bearers and active members.
During the meeting, newly elected President Pradeep Dhawan announced the board members for the upcoming term. Various speakers pledged their support for the forum’s initiatives. The panel proposed for the 2025-26 committee was unanimously approved by the attending members with applause.

Mittal, Parvesh Kumar, D.R. Goel, Surinder Singh Balasi, Yoginder Nath Kakkar, Rajinder Sharma, Baldev Sachdeva, Dr. Surinder Kapoor, Ashok Kakkar, and Ashok Kapahi.
