Raksha Rajya Mantri visits Golden Arrow Division at Ferozepur
Ferozepur, 4 October 2025: Raksha Rajya Mantri Sanjay Seth today visited the flood-affected areas of Ferozepur and Tarn Taran districts in Punjab to review ongoing relief and rehabilitation measures. He was received and briefed by senior Army officials of the Golden Arrow Division, which forms part of the Vajra Corps under the Western Command, on the extensive rescue and relief operations undertaken by the Indian Army in coordination with civil administration.

During his visit, the Raksha Rajya Mantri interacted with affected families and local residents, assuring them of all possible assistance from the Government. He appreciated the swift and sustained response by the Indian Army in providing timely rescue, relief, and medical aid to civilians stranded due to rising water levels.The Minister lauded the dedication and selfless service of the troops of the Golden Arrow Division (Vajra Corps) who operated relentlessly through challenging conditions to evacuate stranded people, restore connectivity, and establish relief and medical camps across inundated areas.
He also held discussions with senior officials of the Army and civil administration to ensure effective coordination in ongoing relief and rehabilitation work. The Raksha Rajya Mantri expressed satisfaction over the synergy between the Indian Army, local authorities, and volunteers in mitigating the hardships faced by citizens in flood-affected areas.
He also interacted with the troops and appreciated their exceptional professionalism and operational preparedness.
