Railway organises special camp under Digital Life Certificate Drive 4.0 for pensioners
Ferozepur, November 18, 2025: A special camp was organised today at the Northern Railway Firozpur Division auditorium under Digital Life Certificate Campaign 4.0, chaired by Divisional Railway Manager Sanjeev Kumar. The initiative aims to provide pensioners with an easy, secure and hassle-free facility to submit their Life Certificate through digital mode, ensuring uninterrupted pension benefits.
During the session, Bank of India Manager Rajesh Kumar demonstrated the step-by-step process of downloading and submitting the Digital Life Certificate.
Using the Jeevan Pramaan App, pensioners can conveniently generate and submit their life certificate from the comfort of their own homes, without needing to visit a bank or post office. The system operates through Aadhaar-based facial recognition, ensuring both security and reliability. The certificate can later be downloaded from the Jeevan Pramaan portal.
Senior Divisional Personnel Officer Ms Sakshi Singh, Divisional Personnel Officer Bijendra Kumar, and other staff members were present on the occasion. More than 90 pensioners attended the camp in Ferozepur, while a total of 240 pensioners benefited across all four camps.
Under the Digital Life Certificate Campaign 4.0, special camps are also being held at Ludhiana, Jalandhar City, Amritsar, and the Divisional Office, Ferozepur.
The Railway Administration has urged all pensioners to visit their nearest camp and avail themselves of this digital facility.
