HSSC announces Group Post recruitment, applications open till this date

Chandigarh, February 6, 2026: The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has invited online applications for direct recruitment to various Group posts under Advertisement No. 3/2026, HSSC Chairman Sh. Himmat Singh announced on Thursday.
He informed that candidates can submit their applications from February 6, 2026, to February 20, 2026, up to 11:59 PM through the official portal adv032026.hryssc.com, after which the link will be automatically deactivated. He clarified that departmental preferences will be obtained only from candidates who qualify the stenography skill test.
The Chairman further stated that, as per a notification issued by the State Government, Sikh candidates will be permitted to wear and carry a Kirpan in all examinations conducted by the Commission, subject to prescribed standards. The total length of the Kirpan must not exceed 9 inches (22.86 cm), with the blade length restricted to 6 inches (15.24 cm). Such candidates will be required to report at the examination centre at least one hour before the scheduled examination time.
Additionally, married women candidates will be allowed to wear a Mangalsutra inside the examination hall and must report to the examination centre at least 30 minutes prior to the exam.
Himmat Singh added that in line with the State Government’s notification, the Commission has issued necessary instructions to all examination centres, supervisors and security personnel to ensure smooth and uniform implementation of these provisions.
