New Delhi, March 23, 2026: Union Home Minister Amit Shah has indicated that the suicide case of Punjab official Gagandeep Singh Randhawa could be transferred to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), provided all Members of Parliament from Punjab submit a written request.
Shah made the statement in response to a question raised by Congress MP Gurjeet Aujla during a parliamentary session. The case has drawn significant attention amid allegations of administrative pressure on the late official.
