Extra coaches added to key trains to ease summer rush in Ferozepur Rail Division

Ferozepur, April 25, 2026: Keeping in view the convenience of passengers during the peak summer travel season, the Ferozepur Rail Division of Indian Railways has announced the addition of extra coaches in several trains to manage increased passenger demand.
According to an official press release issued by the Ferozepur Divisional Office, the move aims to provide relief to passengers and ensure a more comfortable journey.
As per the schedule, Train No. 04624 (Amritsar–Kolkata Express) will have one additional AC 3-tier coach on April 27, 2026, Train No. 04654 (Amritsar–New Jalpaiguri Clone Special) will get one additional sleeper class coach on April 29, 2026, Train No. 20498 (Ferozepur Cantt–Rameswaram Humsafar Express) will be augmented with one additional AC 3-tier coach on May 2, 2026, Shatabdi Express (Train No. 12030) will have one additional AC chair car coach on April 25, 26, and May 1, 2026, Shatabdi Express (Train No. 12032) will get one additional AC chair car coach on April 30, 2026 and Trains No. 19612 and 19614 operating between Amritsar and Ajmer will have an additional sleeper class coach from upto to May 31, 2026.
The Ferozepur Division reiterated its commitment to enhancing passenger convenience and ensuring smoother travel experiences. With the addition of extra coaches, more passengers will be able to secure confirmed reservations during the busy season.
