Haryana CM Saini invites Amritsar traders to expand business in Sonipat, assures full support

Chandigarh, April 25, 2026:A delegation of traders from Majitha Mandi, Amritsar met Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini at his residence, Sant Kabir Kutir, on Saturday to explore opportunities for business expansion and investment in the state.
During the meeting, the traders proposed expanding their wholesale dry fruit business to Sonipat. The Chief Minister responded positively and gave his approval, reiterating the state government’s commitment to promoting trade and industry by providing all necessary support to investors.
Welcoming the traders, Saini said Haryana is working on the principle of ease of doing business, ensuring transparent and efficient processes. He added that the state is rapidly emerging as a key industrial and logistics hub, offering a favourable environment for investment.
The Chief Minister also highlighted that expansion plans of major Delhi markets like Khari Baoli and Bhagirath Palace have already been approved in the Rai area of Sonipat, with the aim of developing it into a major commercial hub.
He assured the delegation that the government will provide full protection and support to investors, enabling them to grow their businesses successfully in Haryana.
BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh and industry coordinator Sunil Sharma were also present during the meeting.
