New Delhi, May 6, 2026: Harmeet Singh Kalka, President of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC), on Tuesday challenged former president Manjit Singh GK to present the complete truth regarding Gurdwara property matters.
In a statement, Kalka said that claims made in a recent video by Manjit Singh GK about Gurdwara properties were “incomplete and misleading.” While welcoming discussion on such issues, he stressed that the Sangat must be presented with full and accurate information.
Kalka questioned decisions taken during GK’s tenure, particularly regarding valuable properties in areas like Karol Bagh, and asked for clarity on how those decisions were made. He remarked that “half-baked information can be dangerous” and called for transparency and accountability in public life.
He also pointed out that, for the first time in DSGMC’s history, a president is facing court proceedings, underlining the need for openness.
Assuring that the current committee is functioning transparently, Kalka said the DSGMC would not allow even “an inch” of Gurdwara land to be lost and remains committed to protecting its properties.
He urged the Sangat to stay cautious of rumours and rely only on verified facts, calling for unity in safeguarding the dignity and assets of Gurdwaras.
