Ferozepur students shine in Class 12 Board Exams; 13 make merit list
Ferozepur, May 13, 2026: Students of Ferozepur district have delivered an outstanding performance in the Class 12 examinations conducted by the Punjab School Education Board, bringing laurels to the district. As many as 13 students, which include 4 merit holders of Saragarhi Memorial Meritorious School, from the district secured positions in the merit list, creating an atmosphere of celebration among students, teachers and parents.
District Education Officer (Secondary) Munila Arora and Deputy District Education Officer Dr. Satinder Singh congratulated the students, teachers and parents on the remarkable achievement.
Sharing details, the officials said that a total of 9,745 students from Ferozepur district appeared in the examination, out of which 9,148 students passed, registering an impressive pass percentage of 93.87 percent. They described the result as a reflection of the hard work and dedication of students and teachers as well as the improving educational standards in the district.
They further stated that the students who secured places in the PSEB merit list have not only brought pride to their families, schools and teachers, but have also enhanced the prestige of the entire district. The achievement is being viewed as an inspiring example in the field of education.
Congratulating students, parents, school heads and teachers, the education officials said that the success was the outcome of collective efforts, commitment and continuous preparation. They credited the excellent results to the sincere efforts of teachers and the determination shown by students.
They also highlighted that the initiatives taken by the Punjab Government and the Education Department to provide quality education in government schools are now clearly visible in the results. Modern teaching methods, regular academic activities and continuous monitoring by teachers have strengthened the competitive spirit among students.
Expressing confidence, the officials said that Ferozepur district would continue to scale new heights in the field of education and students would keep setting new benchmarks through hard work and dedication.
