PAU student secures Rank 1 in UPSC IEDS Recruitment examination

‘Ludhiana (Punjab), May 22, 2026: Anmoljot Singh Sekhon, a Ph.D. scholar in the Department of Food Science and Technology, College of Agriculture, at Punjab Agricultural University, has brought great pride to the university by securing Rank 1 in the Indian Enterprise Development Service (IEDS–Food) Recruitment Examination for the post of Assistant Director Grade-I, conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. Anmoljot completed both his undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Food Technology from the same department.
Anmoljot’s exceptional accomplishment has filled the university fraternity with immense pride and joy. His success stands as a testament to his dedication, perseverance, and academic excellence nurtured during his years at PAU.
He expressed heartfelt gratitude to the faculty of the Department of Food Science and Technology for their continuous guidance, encouragement, and unwavering support throughout his academic journey.
The Head of the Department of Food Science and Technology, Dr. Baljit Singh, Principal Food Technologist (Baking Technology), lauded Anmoljot’s hard work, sincerity and determination.
