  Chandigarh, June 24, 2026: Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu appeared before the Scheduled Castes (SC) Commission on Wednesday.
  
  Taking note of the apology tendered by the Union Minister of State, the SC Commission directed him to pay obeisance at four prominent religious places — Sri Harmandir Sahib, Dera Ballan, Sri Ram Tirath Temple and Dera Brahmdas. The Commission recorded the minister's apology during the proceedings and issued the directions as part of its observations in the matter.
