DBWS students win Gold Medal at 9th Asia Cup Open Int’l Taekwondo Championship 2026
Ferozepur, July 10, 2026: Two students of Das & Brown World (DBWS) School have brought laurels to their school, parents, district, and the country by winning gold medals at the 9th Asia Cup Open International Taekwondo Championship 2026, held in Goa.
School Principal Dr. Ruchi Pandey said that Ridhima Mittal, a Stage-II student of the Cambridge Wing, clinched the gold medal in the P.V. Female Under-28 kg category. Meanwhile, Garitav, a student of Class IX-D, secured the gold medal in the Junior Male 69 kg category, showcasing exceptional talent and determination.
Dr. Pandey said that both students displayed remarkable discipline, self-confidence, dedication, and outstanding sporting skills while competing against talented taekwondo players from various Asian countries. Their outstanding achievement reflects not only their hard work but also the school's commitment to promoting sports and nurturing young talent.
The school management congratulated Ridhima Mittal and Garitav on their remarkable accomplishment and wished them continued success in their future endeavours.
